I discovered a love of travel at the  age of 13 when I participated in a 3-week People to People Student Ambassador trip called, “The Heart of the Mediterranean.” After traveling through France, Monaco, Italy, The Vatican City and Malta; I realized that the world is an enormous place with different cultures, food, languages, and lifestyles– not just my small corner of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. I have since been seizing every opportunity to experience new places in my own country and abroad.

My posts cover a variety of  themes, such as:  traveling, ESL/EFL, teaching, Spain, Turkey, Europe, the U.S., culture shock, (vegetarian) food, drinks, language acquisition and my many embarrassing faux pas.

Thanks for checking out my blog!
